Fun in Athens!

Levi is enjoying swimming and playing and Gma and Gpa's house this weekend. He loved trying to blow bubbles and get his face wet in the water. He is also loving playing the piano for us. And the big Levi news is that he got another tooth! This is number 7! :) He also got his second hair cut that makes him look a little older.
Some of his favorite things to say these days are: "excuse me", "beep, beep" (Both of those usually happen a lot in the grocery store), "Look,Mommy, Look", "I want to see Pez" and "I want this". He has quite the vocabulary is always surprising us with new things and sentences that we didn't know he knew.

Move and Penguins

Levi has been busy helping his Great Grandparents move to Chattanooga this past weekend. He has also been busy spotting trucks and trains everywhere we go. There is a train track on the way to his great grandparents new house so we do get to see trains quite often. He is also enjoying playing outside a lot and with his cousins and finally got to see the Penguins at the Aquarium last week! You can see he is enjoying pushing the buttons that tell where the penguins live. I tried to get a picture with him and the penguins but they both move so fast!

Levi went potty!!

Yeah, you read that right! Levi went potty this morning. We are casually introducing early potty training, and he went potty this morning already! He really enjoyed sitting on his seat on the big potty.

Here are some pictures from our visit to the aquarium this past weekend. We were hoping to see the Penguins that just came to the Aquarium this week, but the line was out the door so we settled on just seeing the fish. He always enjoys seeing the fish and goes through the whole aquarium saying, "pez, pez" the spanish word for fish and just assumes that everyone there understands him. :)

We say he is officially full steam again. He doesn't walk anywhere and is very happy even to go potty! We are prepping him for his long summer in Michigan that is coming very soon and making sure that he has all the cousins names right. He enjoys looking at their pictures and saying their names although he is expecting them to appear around the corner and doesn't quite get that we will see them soon not right this minute. :)

Levi reading and House

Levi continues to feel better and better. He slept in this morning finally!! His mom says, "hurray!" I finally woke him up at 9:30 because everyone was arriving for bible study. He still needs some rest and has low appetite but we are so thankful for all the little things-seeing him laugh and play again!

The first pics are him enjoying the construction on the screen porch that we are rebuilding and him enjoying the fancy pedialyte drinks that we bought for him. :) Then one where he is reading on his chair in his room. This is one of his favorite spots. He is especially happy to have his green room again like in the old house! (it is a little bit more neon though. :))

A lot of you have asked to see pictures of the inside of the new house so here are a couple and I will post more to come.

Feeling Better!

Levi is on the mend! He is laughing and running and eatting more and drinking!

Here are some pictures from his fun at the park with his cousins henry and simon yesturday.
He is enjoying the nice weather and playing outside. We also have some construction going on on our screen porch that he likes to watch. As I am writing this, he is at work hammering on our house!

Sick Days

Levi is starting to feel better! He has had Rota Virus. It has been pretty sad. He even has bruises to show for it since they tried to stick him 5 times in the ER to get an IV but his veins were too fragile. We have been forcing fluids which isn't very fun, but he is starting to take water on his own. He asks for milk everyday which is sad since we aren't supposed to give it to him ALL week! He is doing a LOT better though as you can tell. You can see all the things we tried to get him to take fluids like the cool little bottle of pedialyte. He likes to hold it more than drink it, but whatever works!
