We were planning to get carpet in our playroom, mainly because there is a brick stair (the one and only stair in our house now!) that leads into the room and it was SUPER scary watching Ollie try to go up and down it. We picked out some super heavy duty, durable, stain resistant carpet and it was backordered so we didn't know exactly when it would be installed. Then, we got a call that said it came in and they would call me when the installer scheduled a time. Yep, they called about 2 hours before they were coming while Craig was at work. We wanted to save money so of course we were going to move everything out ourselves and tear up the indoor/outdoor carpet that was there. BUT given the time frame we had, we weren't sure what would happen but we started working....and little did I know, levi and I got it ALL out-bookshelves that were bolted to the walls, couch, table, carpet, everything with time to spare! So that is why he is my muscle man! Clara Kate did do a LOT of toy carrying herself so I should praise her too. She just took trip after trip of books and toys. Quite impressive and now we have a super soft cushy carpet to enjoy with a soft stair leading into it that ollie can roll down if he wants! :)

End of July fun...
Ok, so I must brag on my muscle man here....

Clara Kate is 3!
Clara Kate is 3 today! She enjoyed waking this morning to partyland that Levi enjoyed helping with after she went to bed last night, then pancakes for breakfast complete with a candle to blow out, then a party at Grandma's house with her cousins and swimming and cupcakes, then another party with daddy at home! What a day! She is very proud to be 3 and was very proud to throw away all her pacifiers too. She told levi tonight, "Levi, I don't have ANY pacis anymore because I'm a big girl now like you!". :)
Here is Levi helping set up partyland...
Clara decorating her Gluten free cupcakes for the party....
Enjoying her pancake with a candle to blow out (levi's idea of course because they did it last year.)
Her cupcake party at Grandma's house and sitting by her cousin Simon at her request. :) And yes, in the swimming picture she is swimming holding a squirt bottle just in case any of the big boys decide to attack! :)
Then her party at home with Daddy and fam. Levi gave her a Dora wallet that she was super excited about. Levi picked it out himself and paid for it with his own money. He was SO excited to give it to her and she LOVED it! Very sweet!

Our Champ!
So here is our Champ just days before his disaster. Happy as can be and getting around with increasing speed and agility! He stands more, can climb stairs, and tries to keep up with levi and CK. Here he is SUPER proud of his bounty! His gluten free cheerios he got all by himself! :)
Then yesturday afternoon, when we were playing outside, he decided he wanted to try to play with levi's bike. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop him fast enough and he got the top of his index finger half way cut off. VERY SAD! He was such a trooper though, hardly fussing unless stuck a millon times for his IV. But, it is fixed and should completely heal!! We are so thankful there shouldn't be long term affects on this injury and VERY thankful it wasn't worse! Now he is the proud wearer of what we have deemed the "boxing glove". :) This is levi trying to show the cast for the picture. Ollie would rather crawl to me, so not the best picture but you can see the cast.

Cow Day!!
Cow Day! The annual holiday for cows to get free meals! We even got Craig to dress up with us this year so free meals all around! :) The kids really enjoyed it. They took our picture for their facebook page, but I haven't checked to see if it is up there yet.
Our cows eatting grass. :)

You can't really see Craig's spots since he is down low but he is dressed up!

And out little camouflage cow in his carseat!

The cous, dolly baseball and stroller hook up...
This is the cous, Daniel, and CK. I couldn't resist posting it because they are so cute! Something about 2 is just SO cute! They are really funny together and got to enjoy some alone playtime while the older kids went to the free movie last week, a rare treat! (not the movie for the others, the alone playtime for them! :))
Then this is Dolly baseball. Can you see why? CK has to take care of her dolly AND play baseball. Levi doesn't seem to mind and they both get super into it as you can see. :)

And the Dolly bike hook-up. This was levi's invention so Clara could have her dolly with her while she rode her bike. Pretty funny! It worked!
