More back to normal as far as weather...for now anyways!
A family baseball game, complete with Ollie hitting and me pushing him around the bases in his stroller! It is funny to think that I have probably thrown more baseballs in the past 5 years than I did in my whole life! We'll see if Ollie ends up loving it as much as his brother!

Basketball Game!
And FINALLY the First Basketball Game is here! Levi has been VERY excited to start basketball, especially because he cousin Simon is on his team. His cousin Henry is also on an older team. Their first game was cancelled due to the snow, but they finally had their first game on Saturday! He LOVED it and can't wait for his next game!
January fun
Clara Kate is now 2 1/2! She got to go to the childrens museum with Gma, Levi and Ollie to celebrate her 1/2 birthday! She is seeming older every day!

Let it SNOW, let it SNOW, let it SNOW!
While we are not huge fans of snow in general, we all LOVE snow days when Craig gets out of school and we can have some fun family time unexpectedly AND it looks pretty! This time we have gotten LOTS of days since we have more snow than I have EVER seen in TN, even more than the blzzard of '93, at least how I remember it. At least we have power and water though since that was lost in 93. The city has pretty much been shut down, but fortunately our Y was open for a while yesturday so we got to get out and enjoy running around and swimming, etc.
We have had some snowball fights, built a snow fort and a snowman and Clara Kate has made her snow castles. It is quite an impressive snow for TN, don't you think?

Happy New Year!
Well, I can't believe it is 2011 already! Ollie is now 6 months old, sitting up a little longer without falling over due to constantly REACHING for toys, and just had his first bites of baby cereal and actually liked it! I remember the other kids just spitting it out and not swallowing it the first time, so I was fulling expecting that, but he just opened wide and learned what to do after the
first couple of bites. I just think the picture of levi feeding him is hilarious because of levi opening his mouth so wide to show him!
Levi got "new to him" bunkbeds that he is super proud of, and he is REALLY excited to be sleeping on the top bunk. He can't wait till we let Clara Kate sleep on the bottom bunk. (Maybe this weekend- i guess you might see a future post about that if it happens!) He is also doing "homeschool" as he likes to call it this semester since we weren't super impressed with his preschool experience last semester. He had his first week this week and LOVED it. (He knows most of what he should for kindergarten already so we are just basically humoring him and encouraging his love for learning by doing the "homeschooling" two days a week.) He is most into math but also enjoys trying to put some words together and just practicing writing too. He has already taken two "fieldtrips" with grandma too in her "bus"!
And Clara Kate is seeming older ALL the time. The way she talks and tries to boss her big brother around makes it hard not to laugh out loud sometimes. She is always wanting to do what her big brother does and help with Ollie who loves to hear her high pitched little voice talking to him. Her favorite meal right now is penne rice noodles and marinara on the side to dip them in, as you can see in the picture!
