Reading to Ollie

Sorry that it's sideways and that she doesn't have on pants, but that is how she likes it these days! It makes it faster to get to the potty. And she didn't pick the best reading book this time, she kind of starts talking gibberish. It's much better when she actually describes the pictures, but two year olds like to surprise you! :)

Ollie Talk

A little update...

Levi has had two weeks of school now and is loving it. It seems a little more intense than we would like, but he's having fun! CK is potty, potty all the time and moving, talking and feeding babies all the time. I usually have to move a baby every time i put ollie in his carseat, swing, bouncy seat, etc because her babies are always there! And ollie is just smiling and enjoying laid back life in his swing-yes, we do take him out of the swing, but he does LOVE it so he is in there a LOT! :)

As for the pictures, Levi finally got to help give Ollie a bottle which he has been asking to do for quite a while! The one of just Clara Kate is her enjoying a quiet lunch while levi was at school. And that last picture just cracks me up because it is a good example of what life is like with clara and Levi. He is always wanting to help her and she often asks him for help instead of us! He is cutting her pancake there and yes, it is gluten free! She is also known to sit in his lap and ask him to carry her. She LOVES the big brother attention and big brother loves it too! :)

Smiles

So finally we catch ollie's smiles on camera! That is a hard task because it seems like the camera is always a minute too late but we caught one this time! :) He is smiling much more freely these days which his brother and sister love! It is still a novelty though so they get pretty excited when he smiles at them!

This bottom picture cracks me up. This is a poor third child who is left on his changing pad after getting a clean diaper while his mommy has to help his sister on the potty and his brother with some craft project and when I come back, he is sleeping! I guess he takes after his brother though since his brother can still be a big napper even at almost 5 and a helper too! (he must have known it was a bigger help to me to just fall asleep instead of requesting attention at that moment! :) ) I do think he gets PLENTY of attention even as a third child though since he gets lots of brother and sister attention too so that is why it cracks me up to see this. If he didn't get enough attention then I would probably cry instead! :)

Just some black and white pics of the fam hanging out. Ollie is smiling now and holding his head up more. He weighed 10lbs12oz at his 7wk dr appt. and is doing well. He is finally sleeping just over a 7 hour stretch at night now too so his mom and dad are happy about that! :) We have been having some end of the summer fun with cousins since school started back this week already. Levi starts his preschool next week AND homeschool he says. He is VERY excited about homeschooling and was ready to give up preschool altogether, but we've decided we'd do both since we really want him to have the social interaction and HE really wants to homeschool! He is happy with that. Clara Kate is seeming older too. She is getting really close to being potty trained now so we're all happy with that! She is also pretty hilarious these days. I'll have to catch her in action with video sometime soon so you can see it too!
I just tacked this one on the end of levi and his friend Brady having a "show" on sunday. It is neat to see how differently they play together since they have been playing together since they were 1 1/2! It makes them seem very old!

Nana and Papa's visit

Levi, CK and Ollie all enjoyed their time with Nana and Papa!

They did lots of fun things even though it has been sweltering HOT here!

They enjoyed a carousel ride, running in the fountains, doing some carnival games in honor of CK and Nana's birthdays, went bowling (levi was pumped to bowl a 94!), played at the passage, and just had fun spending time with their grandparents!

Daddy and mom enjoyed spending time with them too! :)
