Jumping Five Feet

Levi of course likes to jump in the pool. Here he is telling us that he going to jump five feet, then he shows off his swimming to the side. :)

Little Gatinburg Vacation

We took a little vacation to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area to just get away and relax after VBS, which involved just staying a few nights at a nice hotel. Levi enjoyed all the pools! There were 4 to choose from, so he definitely kept busy! Jumping is still one of his favorite things to do as you can see in the pictures, and he is also becoming a lot more independent in the pool which mom and dad love! He also loved the lazy river because he could just swim all the way around in a circle and the current helped pull him along! He thought that was "cool" as he says. He is becoming more aware all the time and is relating things more to his own experiences, thus we have LOTS of lively chatter all the time! He sees billboards on the side of the road and decides that they have something to do with him or his cousins or where we need to go! I didn't realize advertising could be so affective for 2 year olds! :)

Fun with Grandma!

As you can see, Levi has had a LOT of fun with Grandma this week. He was with her three days in a row and has gotten to play in the water in front of the aquarium, go to parks, play at the mall, meet Great Grandma and Grandpa for lunch and play at their house! What a life!! You can tell that is has been HOT here. Look at all the sweat on that boy in the park pictures! :) He is showing off his jumping skills in the first shot, keeping up with the older kids! He likes to try most any active things he sees other kids do!

Summertime

Levi had a popcorn pajama party with his cousins last week Friday. He has been enjoying lots of Grandma time this week since his mom and dad are working at VBS at church, and he isn't sure that he likes to go himself. He tried it Monday and was really scared when the character, "Joshua", came to visit, but he has been having a great time with Grandma instead!
