Christmas In Michigan

The kids were SO excited to go to Michigan for Christmas! They were packing their suitcases as early as possible and hoping to see snow! They didn't get much snow but they had a great time with their nana and papa and Michigan cousins!

These first pictures show the little scavenger hunts nana and papa sent them on each morning to find a little surprise! :)

Here's the Lubbers Christmas Eve party. Levi really enjoyed playing some basketball with his boy cousins and Clara enjoyed playing babies with the girls. I think all the girls were hoping Ollie was a little more babylike since he's the baby of the family, but they did all enjoy being sweet with him and helping with him when they could!

(Aren't all the girls circled

around Ollie with the own babies so cute? :))

Then some good times at Nana and Papa's house looking for deer and playing!

And Levi and his cousin, Tyler bowling! Levi got to bowl with him and spend the night on the one night that it snowed so he got a little playtime in the snow too! He had a GREAT time with them!

And last but certainly NOT least, some time wtih Great Grandma and Great Grandpa! Some ice cream fun and of course some Old Maid! :)

December stuff...

So Levi had his first church christmas program. He had one for school last year, but he has never been in a church one. It was actually the first time our church did a "program" and didn't just have the kids sing some songs, which we are usually in Michigan for anyways. But this year we were here and it was a program. He enjoyed it. Here and Levi and CK "practicing" for his program. (Unfortuantely none of the pictures Craig took turned out but I put a couple here because you can kind of make out levi in the background.)

Ok, this one is just Ollie being silly which he likes to be ALL the time. He was waiting for his lunch, but aren't they cute little feet even though they are on the table? :)

Then getting ready for Michigan. The kids have been wanting to pack for months and it is finally time! We leave tomorrow. They are hoping for snow but I think it's iffy right now whether that will happen or not!

My Silly Superheroes!

Well, this morning Ck and Ollie wanted to be superheroes. Did you know you have to fold a blanket into quarters for a 1 year old to not trip on their cape? :)

Fun on Daddy's Birthday with Gma!

Well, since Craig got to take the day off on his birthday, Gma watched the kids so they got to have lots of fun too. They went to the museum with their cousin Daniel. They love the little house! It is cute to see Ollie walking around with them and being a kid!

Then when Levi got back from his fieldtrip to the Nutcracker, he got picked up early from school to get some Gma fun too! He was SUPER excited to get picked up early and got to show Ck, Grandma and Daniel and Aunt Sally his classroom!

Then Levi also got to enjoy Daddy's Blizzard ice cream cake that was free from his coupon book sale and it is HUGE! :) (Ck and Ollie enjoyed their vanilla ice cream too!)

Christmas prep..

Starting to make christmas gifts! Levi LOVES to make gifts! :)

Then taking some pictures as we think about getting cards ready.... (don't have high hopes for our picture this year though. I am not too happy with it, but oh well. It's the thought that counts, right? :) )

Just putting some presents under the tree...

East Ridge Chtistmas Parade!

The kids were quite excited about the first christmas parade this year! They got lots of candy and enjoyed wearing warm weather gear on a chilly night. Also, the man next to us gave them all flow necklaces so they were super pumped to be glowing all night! Even Ollie wore his proudly! (We did bring Ollie lots of popcorn to keep him still so he wouldn't run into the street! He does LOVE popcorn!)

Fun in the Leaves!

Playing in the leaves, finally! Levi was looking forward to enough leaves falling so he could rake them up and jump in them! He did running leaps, Clara Kate did big runs to a little fall and Ollie just walked up and sat down!

Finishing November

Clara Kate enjoying her gluten free muffins. It seems we make them almost every other day these days because she and Ollie and even Levi love them SO much!

I took this picure becuase I thought it was so cute that Levi was vaccuuming up Ollie mess before school in the morning, in his uniform no less! He just sees these things and does something about them. Why can't I be this way? Our house would be much cleaner if I was like Levi! :)

The finishing what we started with Christmas decorating! The kids just love, love, love putting up the tree. There were lots of little bells along the bottom thanks to Clara Kate! :)

Was this really just over a week ago??

So we used to call Ollie, "The Shuff" or say, "here comes Shuff" because he would crawl so funny dragging one leg. It seems like he has been doing it forever and his pants all say he has been doing it long enough due to the holes in the one leg that was dragged! So I thought a video of what it used to be like was in order. It seems like he has been walking quite a while aleady even though it hasn't even been two weeks and he is getting faster and more stable all the time! But here is to remembering "the shuff!" :)

Christmas already, for real?!

SO the kiddos have REALLY been wanting to get started decorating the house for Christmas. They don't care that we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet, they are ready now! So finally, today I said go ahead and go out to the garage and see what you can find and you can stack it up and we'll do some over the weekend. (I said this thinking that the bins were probably too heavy and high anyways for them to find much, so they'd just stop asking till Daddy was home and ready to help, but oh no, they brought them ALL inside one at a time!) So we are ready to decorate. I gave in and set up the lighted houses and they LOVE them! :)
