Rollerskate Soccer?

Levi seems to always be thinking of interesting things to play these days. This is just an example of the interesting things he thinks of. :)

Just some pictures...

Well, here are the kids ready for "battle" as they call it. Levi built this crazy fort and then had "battle" with Clara Kate.

Did I happen to mention the messy eatter? :)

And of course a sleeping picture. I always like to take a picture if I have to wake him from his nap. Isn't he so cute with even his little shoes on? :)

And getting so big! His head is taller than the crib rail with the mattress at the bottom! At least he isn't climbing out yet. He is climbing on EVERYTHING else though! :) (I think even Levi was 10 months before he could climb out himself so we should have at least a couple months! :))

And then the soft supper of quiche and milkshake after Levi had his first filling. Yes, a filling in a baby tooth! Unfortunately it was in one of his molars that will probably not be lost for a LONG time so we had to do it. He was totally a good sport and went back all by himself and said it wasn't a big deal and didn't hurt at all, not even the numbing shot! I guess he has a higher pain tolerance than his mother! :)

Silly Ollie

So our little guy is not walking yet but is pretty hilarious! He is definitely playing like one of the kids and seeming older each day. Here he is playing with the lightsaber and then treats you to one of his head stands. He does these head stands ALL the time. When I pull out the camera, he goes down on his head and says, "cheese". We are loving all his progress each day even though he isn't walking. Aside from pulling everything down he can reach and making a HUGE mess while he is trying to learn to eat with utensils, we love this age! It makes it even more fun to see Ck and Levi love his progress and changes too. His favorite word right now is "eat". :) Everytime he wakes up from nap and in the morning, he says "up" and/or "hi" and then "eat" or "I eat" repeatedly until he is fed!

Labor Day 4 day weekend!

Well, due to the crazy rain that we got and flooding we ended up having a 4 day weekend instead of a 3 day one! Levi was a little disappointed to not be at school on tuesday though! They had a one hour delay today too and he was holding his backpack ready to walk out the door most of that hour! At least he loves school! :)

As you can see from the pictures, they had a grand time setting up a village...(they also did a delivery truck out of the toilet box after Craig put in the new one but I didn't get a picture of it!)

and then we took a hike on raccoon mtn and had a picnic up there. (Before all the rain came so it was cool enough to enjoy a hike! Finally a glimpse that fall might really come! Enough of this 100/90 degree weather!!)

Their favorite part was the trail mix of course!

Tooth!

14 months and finally got his first tooth! He was pretty miserable for a LOT of weeks which equaled all of us being a little miserable! :) Ck and Levi would plug their ears when his screams got too loud. We think there are two more, one top and another on the bottom that will be poking through any day. I thought the second one was coming through but we were also getting a stomach bug at the same time so hard to know how much was teething and how much was the stomach bug he had. But today he was eatting again like usual and playing happily by himself and went back to his 30 minute morning nap as opposed to the 2 hours it had been lately! He is still talking a lot and parrotting a TON! We like when he calls himself "Pop Pop" announcing himself as he crawls in the room. (since we call him Ollie Pop a lot, it gets changed to pop pop too. :)) He can also tell us when he needs a drink, banana, and most other things are "this" and "that". He frequently says, "i want that" when we walk through the kitchen. Still no walking though! One of these days.....
