Two Months

Clara Kate is two months old now! She is getting more animated every day and smiling and cooing at life. Levi is still buys working and playing sports every day!

Fun days...

This is a mix of pictures from the last two days that shows Levi's second day of church school. I think since we took a picture the first day that he thinks it is just part of our morning routine before school. He insisted we should take one before we left the house! The next one he was just playing and pretending his ball basket was a boat and then there is funny picture in our bathroom! While I was doing work for church in the morning yesturday, he was busy doing "work" of his own. I hadn't even realized what he was doing and it cracked me up when I went into the bathroom! Then the last picture is of our Papi Party yesturday. We had a fun fiesta to celebrate Papi. Levi was giving him a back rub and made him lots of cards and we even hung up streamers and balloons. We love a party! :)

Crazy Cousins

That last video and these pics were from the fun time hanging out with his cousins this week. Since Henry is in school now and Simon in preschool, it is a special treat when Levi gets to see them all! Clara Kate even enjoyed it too!

Church School

Levi had his first day at "church school" yesturday. He absolutely loved it. It is a Parents Morning Out at our church and is two days a week from 9-2. He was so excited yesturday when he got home that he got his clothes and bag all ready to go back on Thursday. He said he has a lot more "work" to do at church school on Thursday. :)

Then you can see Clara Kate's evening routine these days-sleeping on Papi. She is so content, she just takes a nice rest most nights on his belly. :)

Levi is also loving talking on the phone. The picture there is one where he is talking to Papa Lubbers on the phone and laughing hysterically.

Then Clara kate is called our Wee Ones mascot in that onsie because it is our church symbol and one of the ladies gave it to me at a shower they had for me last weekend.

September Days

Clara Kate is getting bigger every day. She is really filling out and becoming rounder! Levi likes to say, "She's getting bigger today, Mommy." She also is cooing and smiling a lot more! We already think she is growing up way too fast, but she is happy about it!

Levi is also seeming tons older! He is wearing Clara Kate's shorts on his head in the one picture. He plays more pretend games all the time, and is just so aware of everything. Today when we got in the car to go to church to do some work, he asked, "Mommy, do you have your cell phone?" I said yes. Then he asked if I had my wallet and my church keys. He is always the helper, trying to even help me not to forget anything! (I am forgetting things ALL the time these days as I am back to work which is CRAZY busy right now, plus not quite being used to having two to take with me yet! I have burned more meals than I want to count, but at least I won't forget my wallet and keys anymore!) One of my favorite things is when something doesn't go his way, he says, "Oh no. I guess we will have to do that on Thursday." (Much improved from a fussing episode!) Thursday is his favorite day of the week, so usually if it isn't that day, it will happen on Thursdays.

Nanna, Papa, and Olivia!

Levi had a WONDERFUL time this past weekend with his Nanna, Papa and cousin Olivia! Clara Kate enjoyed meeting them all too. Levi and Olivia had a great time playing everything from church to dancing and puppet shows! He has asked several times already if they can come back to play! Too bad we can make MI closer!
