Rainy Days...

The Goalie...

So Levi had his second soccer game last saturday and did much better. He started out pretty scared of the referee again but since a bunch of kids on his team weren't there, he had to step up and play. He eased his way in starting as goalie and then moved on to really playing! He even scored a goal for the other team and was quite proud of himself! :)

First Soccer Game...

Levi had his first soccer game this week. He was SO excited. He had been asking for weeks when his game would be and couldn't wait. He even woke up at 6am and put his soccer socks and shorts on ready for the game, completely disregarding his clock because he was so excited! (he usually knows he can't get up till it is at least 7!) He was quite pumped and did great in the practice before the game, but once the real game started, he was a little nervous and not so sure about the guy with the whistle. He did play goalie for a while as you can see in the picture. He said later that he was worried that he might accidentally touch the ball with his hands. Now he knows what to expect so we'll see what next week brings!

While I was sick last week, Levi and Ck got to have a lot fun with Grandma and even with dad with a day he took off. We are VERY thankful that they both stayed healthy though! Here are a couple of pictures one fun day with grandma when they picked up his cousins, simon and lucy too!

Mobility...

Ck and Levi have both been enjoying her newly found mobility. She still isn't fast, but she gets more efficient each day and is VERY into exploring her new found world! She can get to and touch so many more things! I don't have a picture here, but she stands on her knees a lot which makes her much higher. It is really nice for us that she is older when she finally started crawling because she knows and understands more, so we can just tell her "no" and she understands. Amazing! :) She is very into copying not only words but lots of actions. She likes to try to put clothes and hats on, put a diaper on a baby doll, work with tools like levi, throw and catch, etc. She is quite entertaining to just sit and watch. Levi is always go, go, go as usual so the fact that Ck can move too is quite exciting and opening up new games he can play with her.
