Fun in the sun...

We had a great time in Florida. Levi loved that he could touch the bottom of the pool and lazy river since it was only a little over 2ft deep and do all the kids slides by himself! He was happy to swim ALL day! He wore his spider man goggles ALL the time and had lots of kids call him "spiddy". :) He enjoyed watching us do the big slides too even though he wasn't quite big enough for those yet. There was also a basketball court he played on, and he also enjoyed downtown disney with his favorite spot being the Lego Land! He was trying to figure out how to build that guy in the picture. We have been calling him our "boy man" because he really thinks that he is a man in a little boy body and capable of doing pretty much ANYTHING! As you can imagine, this can be a problem at times, but we spend a lot of time laughing and enjoying his attempts to do everything from catching a ball at the Braves v Tigers spring training game, to taking care of his sister or carrying all our luggage. (He really did hold his glove up almost the WHOLE tigers and braves game because he REALLY wanted to catch a ball. One was hit right in front of us but someone got it before we could so he was sure that he would get the next one and stood posed to catch the rest of the game! He particularly watched any older boy with a glove to see where they thought it might be hit and tried to do just what they did. Again, our "boy man" ready to catch the ball before the teenagers could! Oh, if we could all be so optimistic about life!)

Clara Kate enjoyed herself too and spent lots of time in her peapod tent watching the big kids on the slides and being admired by all who passed. She did enjoy some swimming too!

Ck goes to New York City...

Clara Kate had a great time visiting Kate in New York last weekend. She did really well on the plane even with our cancelled flight on the way and delay on the way home. You can see her in Times Square, in front of the statue of Liberty, with Kate in her office in the Flat iron building, and sitting in Central Park. The last you can see how she felt after a day of city life! :)

Levi enjoyed his time with Grandma and Grandpa and with Papi. He played lots of Wii, air hockey, and games with them and went to baseball fields with papi. He was excited for CK to go in a plane. I thought he might be jealous, but he was too pumped about going to Grandma and Grandpa's house to really care!

Legos...

One of Levi's favorite evening activities these days is playing Legos with Papi. They have made some pretty elaborate things including a tree house that opens and closes, helicopters, houses wtih trap door and sliding roofs, trailers with boats and you can take the boat off to put in the water, etc. (As you can imagine, it is hard to say who has more fun with this, Craig or Levi! :)) In the last picture, you can see inside one of the houses, Levi has lots of "kids sleeping". Sometimes the kids need to go to school or do different things in the house and he might need to run upstairs during the day and move them where they need to go.

Never Bored...

It seems like the imagination of a 3 year old keeps everything pretty exciting every day. One minute Levi is a fireman putting out fires with Clara Kate his helper, the next he is busy taking people to school on his "bus", the next fixing something with all his tools and the ladder. Then of course, he is always trying to help with everything. He enjoys helping me cook and has gotten pretty good at cracking eggs and stirring. It seems that while we cook, Clara Kate goes through playing and throwing each kitchen gadget "toy" we hand her and throws it on the floor. Never a dull moment!
