Strawberries and Baseball

Yeah for strawberry season!  The kids really enjoyed having strawberries in our garden this year. I think we probably got about 12 quarts from our little plants!  The kids would go out to pick some for their breakfast smoothie or for a snack or just to get what was ready.  We had a couple "twins" that Ck wanted me to take a picture of in one picture.

And the end of baseball season!  Levi's team got second place again this year.  He enjoyed the season but is excited to start summer fun this  year instead of continuing through the hot summer with more baseball.

First Day of Summer Vacation!!

The kids and I are so excited to have Levi home!  They started their first day picking strawberries than playing, swimming and slip n sliding, and just enjoying their big bro being home!

And a  visit from Aunt Mary!  We got to enjoy some time with her when she stopped over in Chattanooga on her bus tour!

Mothers Day

I am starting to take more pictures of artwork as memories of what the kids did at certain ages rather than trying to keep all this paper for years that will crumple and discolor. The easiest scrapbook to access is the blog, so here are my memories of mothers day this year.  Each of the kids made a cute little craft and the Levi picked roses from the yard to make a nice bouquet of roses!

Morning Baseball

I've said before that the kids usually play baseball every morning before school.  This is usually an EVERY day occurrence in baseball season.  They often line up their helmets and gear the night before so they are ready to play right away in the morning.  They are letting Ollie do some pitching now.  Last year they would use a container as a tee instead, but this year they let him pitch too.
