Crazy TN weather!

So the first couple pictures show the kids enjoying weather in the 60s and playing outside last week and today ( she did decide to take a big drink from her sippy right when i took that first picture though!) , you see CK looking out the window at Craig and Levi making a snowman! I think this is about as much snow as we saw in the blizzard of '93. Hopefully, we won't loose water and power this time though! Levi does enjoy watching out our back den windows as people try to go up the hill behind our house and just slide back down. Thankfully no accidents yet though, then he might not think it is so fun to watch!

Levi and Clara have been enoying spending time with great grandma and great grandpa this week since they flew in from Michigan for a visit. He is hoping he can still get out tomorrow to see them again, but we'll see if it warms up tomorrow. It was 55 degrees and sunny yesturday so he is hopeful! Childrens Museum

These pictures are from a couple weeks ago that I forgot to post, but we went again this past weekend and forgot the camera so I guess it could still be recent! Just having fun on a saturday at the museum, trying to distract CK and have a good time when she wasn't feeling so good.

Levi's sports and Ck's apples!

I thought i better write this or I would forget because all of a sudden these phases will be over. Levi is constantly playing his sports as usual. The pictures are showing his laundry basket basketball. He is also ALWAYS wearing shorts and t-shirts usually related to what "team" he is on for the day. Today he is the blue team, but he is often michigan state when he wears green, but it depends on the day what team he wants to be on. Then he'll switch back and forth to football and baseball and sometimes hockey or golf, but usually he plays whatever sports are in season that he sees craig watching on tv so right now it is mainly basketball and football.

Ck is obsessed with food in general but has a particular affinity for apples. She asks for apples from her crib first thing in the morning or when she is going to bed at night and then ALL DAY LONG! She just loves her apples! Good thing they are gluten free or we'd have a serious problem!

Could it be that Ck is really walking before 18 months? We thought it might never come, but low and behold, she gets herself up again and again and again and tries to do it!

So we had a great christmas at home, in athens with my family and at the cabin in the smokey's with the Lubbers family, and a nice New Years with Chad, Jane, Bryce and Ally! Levi loved spending some time with all his MI cousins on both sides and we enjoyed sharing our baby news on CK's shirt! :)
