Fall Break!

We had a great fall break at Fairfield glade thanks to Nana and Papa!  We got to see the worlds largest treehouse called the ministers treehouse. The kids loved the swing and the basketball court that was on about the 3rd level.  We got to do some swimming, some basketball, some hiking, ping pong and even some tennis!  The kids, especially Clara Kate, loved finding leaves on the hike. There were lots of pretty ones and even some huge ones too!  The boys hid and tried to scare Clara Kate and I by being statues in one of the rock cut outs on the hike. And it worked!

Basketball season is here. Levi is on a 4th grade CCS team this year. Here are a few pictures.

Snow day!

Snow day!! Hurray! We do LOVE a good snow day here! Everyone at home and an unexpected day off!

And indoor fun like making a "little" library!  It changed from Ollie's to Ollie and Clara's shortly after this! 

More Christmas

Ollie's surprise cracks me up! Levi wrapped his bank he got for him in an izze box so Ollie thought he was giving him Izze!

And Levi could not believe he got an iPad! He needs one for school next year so we have it to him early and he was ecstatic! He kept saying it is like a dream!

Christmas break relaxing

Making wings: Ollie is always busy with crafts ALL the time. Of course a break from school meant some serious crafts were made! This is one of my favorites though. He has wings and honestly thought that he might be able to fly a little with them. He took them outside to try them out and jumped off the porch. He decided maybe if there was a little more wind, they might work better!

Our Christmas puzzle that we all work on but mostly daddy does each year. It is a hard one! 

Some candy making this year! All the kids helped with one kind of candy but we only got a picture with Clara. (Sticky fingers makes it hard to take pictures!)

And doll fun. Clara Kate hung her little stocking from Nanna up by her stocking for her doll. Her doll might have gotten something in there too!  And Ollie liked to idea so he put his little stocking up from Nanna too for his Dog! 

We also watched the Star Wars movies so we could be ready to see the new one. That meant a lot of light saber and Star Wars games were played this break as well!

Christmas break!

The kids had Christmas parties the last day of school before break. Ollie got to make ice cream in a bag. It was quite entertaining! I went back and forth between the parties and didn't get pictures of Clara and Levi's parties but they had fun too with crafts and food! 

And now getting to enjoy some Daddy time! Hurray! And Polar express and fires too of course! 

Ck gymnastics

Clara finished her gymnastics class and loved it. She is hoping to do another class again soon! She even went home and did gymnastics practices with her doll! 

Christmas programs

The kids had a busy weekend of Christmas happenings! They sang Christmas carols in the park for a Christmas tree lighting with the kids from church on Friday night. There was a Santa walking around so that is where that picture is from. 

Then they has a practice for most of the afternoon Saturday to get ready for their Christmas performance on Sunday night. And they even sang with their group Sunday morning in both services too before having their actual performance at night!

Clara was an angel, Levi was a shepherd and Ollie was a sheep. They each had a small line to say and learned a LOT of songs. We had been listening to the songs on a cd in the car for over a month.
