Zoo Day and pool fun...

Levi and "the boys", Henry and Simon, had a great time at the zoo with Grandma this week. This was a last day of summer celebration yesterday with Henry before he started school today! They had a great time pretending to be chimps, riding the carousel, and eatting lunch at subway on the 2nd floor overlooking downtown.

Earlier this week, they also had fun at Grandma's pool!

And all that = 8 ounces!! Apparently the right combination of muscle and chub! :) Hurray for CK being 16lbs 12oz now! :)

So Ck at one year old...

She may only be 16 lbs, but you wouldn't guess it by the way she eats! She still wants nothing to do with milk, so levi has been working with her everyday as well as helping her stand and trying to get her to walk. (she still isn't very interested though!) He enjoys the "work"! She is saying lots of words, her favorites, "baby", "ball", "bebi" (levi), "ut-oh", "beek" (peek) and she enjoys trying to mimic things you repeat to her. She loves to play catch, peek-a-boo, and just be part of the action. It seems like she is growing and acting older each day!

Here is our own little b-day celebration on Clara's b-day eve. A cake and party at CiCis and yes, she pretended to drive a car just like levi! :)

This is a little pool party we had with their friend lulu the day after her b-day with cupcakes and fun in the sun.

This is Clara Kate and her new baby from Grandma and Grandpa that is almost as big as her! :) She does enjoy saying "baby" while she plays with her or watches her brother stroll her around the house. As he passes, she points and says, "baby, baby". For some reason, she seems very content to watch levi push the stroller and doesn't seem to care to get up and try herself! :)
