Smiling and Entertainment

Here are a couple pictures of Clara Kate smiling. You can see how she likes to put her fingers in her mouth in the one. We think she will be a finger sucker, but for now, she does take a pacifier. The other is how levi likes to entertain us while Clara Kate eats. :) Clara Kate will never have a dull life with a big brother like Levi!

One Month Old!

We can't believe that Clara Kate is already one month old! Time goes by way too fast!! She is starting to smile more, but it is still hard to catch them on camera! Levi enjoys playing peek a boo and being silly to try to make her smile and when she does, he is absolutely thrilled!

We start to think that she is chunking up some and then other times she still looks tiny, but she has definitely gotten bigger and is more alert all the time. She also spends a LOT of time in her Moby strapped on mom where she is most content. She has now met her cousins Ainsley and Reese from Michigan who have enjoyed helping take care of her this week. Ainsley even helped give her a bottle today! Levi can get a little possessive still, but we are working on "sharing" his sister!

Inspired by the Olympics

Levi has been enjoying doing somersaults inspired by the Beijing Olympics. He has also enjoyed trying to vault over the ottomans, but I haven't gotten a good video clip of that yet! He also is really into taking videos these days and watching himself so you might see a lot of videos in the near future because we have a TON!

Washing ducks and frogs

I forgot to add this picture that I think is hilarious. This is levi washing all the frogs and ducks at Grandma's house three weeks ago when Clara Kate was getting born. He was in the bath tub washing for about 1 hour and 1/2 and loved every minute of it. He loves to work!

The usual

This is the usual scene as Levi likes to hold Clara Kate daily. She is usually jolly at first and then isn't so sure about it while her brother is loving every minute of it and giggling his head off!

Reading to Lil Sis

Levi is reading his new books from Kate to Clara Kate while she enjoys her new blanket. She seems pretty interested.

Levi has started using a funny high pitch voice to talk to Clara Kate so everything he says to her is in a special Clara Kate voice. It is pretty cute.

Golfing

Levi loves playing golf. He has started using a tee outside and getting to do real swings rather than just putting. He gets really excited about that. He is pretty sure that Clara Kate will like to golf too when she gets bigger.

First Bath

I tried to get a picture of levi helping give Clara Kate her first real bath in the sink, but it was a little hard to hold her and get a picture of them both! You can kind of see Levi's head in the second one. Then he enjoyed playing with her when she was done and all nice and clean. She enjoyed her first bath and seemed very intrigued by all the water.

Today, Levi read to her and picked out her outfit and was very excited to find a onsie with a cupcake on it for her to wear. He told her all about her "alphabet" with a cupcake. (He says alphabet for outfit.) Pretty cute.

Our two little ones...

Aunt Lisa got these super cute pics of Levi and Clara Kate from our week festivities so far. Doesn't Clara Kate look so much older? Don't be fooled though, she is still pretty tiny. She did weigh Almost 8 lbs at the Dr today though! We do think her eyes might be more the color of Craig's though because they are already a lot darker blue than levi's eyes ever were, but we will have to wait and see...

Cousin Lily's Birthday Party!

Levi had lots of fun having a birthday party for cousin lily at Grandma's house yesturday! He has been looking forward to it all week and had a great time. He was happy cousin lily came all the way from Indiana to TN for her birthday!

Yes, Clara Kate ws there, but she was sleeping away most of the day so she didn't get in many pictures!
