Ending September

Levi got to enjoy a boys sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's house last weekend to enjoy the annual hospital picnic. They all got their faces painted and enjoyed the games and especially the treat bags they got! Levi had been SO looking forward to this. He packed his bag days ahead of time and kept packing and repacking because he was SO excited for this time with his cousins and grandparents!


Here is Ollie with some toys. He is grabbing toys now and smiling and laughing and just generally cute and content. It is always fun to pick him up from the Y nursery because all the workers like to tell me how cute he is and how he is such a good baby which makes up for when I pick up Clara Kate from her nursery and they tell me she cried the whole time!

Here are Levi and CK enjoying the rain we had this week. We were VERY excited to have rain and to get some cooler weather-FINALLY! They enjoyed filling all the buckets with rain water from the gutters and just getting wet! It is finally feeling more like fall, even if it is just in the mornings, but hopefully, the cooler weather is truly coming now! Levi can enjoy riding his bike much more without complaining that it is too HOT for his helmet! :)

Here is some levi photography. He loves taking pictures so he posed CK and Ollie today. I'm glad we don't have to be using film like the olden days! As you can see Clara Kate's hair is hard to tame. We usually call her "wild thing" because that is what she looks like and acts like a lot of the time. We just love to hear her say, "I'm Wild Thing!". :) Also a great quote from today from Clara Kate...she picked up a candle and I told her to put it down because we don't play with candles, so she said, "sorry mommy, candles have wheat in them." I guess she just figures if she can't have it, it must have wheat in it! :) Also, my favorite quote from her about potty training was probably a whole month ago, but she said, "Oh no undies, you aren't supposed to get wet! That was naughty!"

Levi drops the training wheels...

Levi had an exciting night last night. He learned to ride his bike without training wheels! Quite exciting! He asked if we could just throw the training wheels away since he will never need them again! Obviously, we said no since CK and Ollie could both use them, but he was just so proud of himself! He did take some spills and got back up again. He was inspired knowing that his cousins Lily and Tyler were doing it now too and since he'll be 5 in a couple weeks, he thought it was time for him to learn too!

And a couple pics from the park. Clara Kate enjoys levi taking her down the slide even though she can do it herself! Levi was pretty pumped to run around the park with one of his dad's students most of the time though. He thought he was big stuff to run around with a 5th grader and the 5th grader enjoyed having someone who thought he was cool stuff. It was pretty sad though that the student was there with his older sister who is 16 and had her baby there with her while she hung out with friends. :( Pretty sad.

September...

Well, september is here, although it still isn't really feeling like it with temps still in the 90s most days but it has cooled off some at night, so we are spending more time outside again!
Levi is still enjoying school and everything else , CK is learning new vocabulary and surprising us all the time with the things she thinks of to talk about and say and just being silly, and Ollie is getting more round by the minute! Here are a few pics...

Labor Day fun...

Here is some pictures of the labor day fun here. The kids enjoyed swimming at Grandpa and Grandma's house, finding bugs with Grandpa, and of course, EATTING!

What we've been up to...

Well, as you can see, we have been cuddling Ollie, trying out his bumbo seat (he still needs a little head support before he can stay in there very long)...

Playing in the garage (yes CK is using that bucket as a foot stool. I put it there to be her table while she ate breakfast, but she liked it as a foot stool better!)
